Partner, parentage and hearings
Zora prepares parentage judgments and confirmatory adoptions, and is the lawyer most families meet in the courtroom.
Zora handles the orders that make a family’s status secure: judgments of parentage, confirmatory adoptions and stepparent adoptions. She spends most of her week preparing a hearing that will last ten minutes.
She is known at the firm for the one-page summary she writes before every hearing, and for asking each client who they want in the room.

In her words
Why I like a short hearing
The best finalization hearing is about ten minutes long, and somebody in the room cries a little. Everything I do beforehand is so that it can be that short.
I ask every family who they would like to bring. Grandparents, a best friend, a child in a party dress. The courtroom is better with them in it.
